A change in the adventure de
partment: With the coming of
the summer season, here is how
the Youngster's program line-up
will be affected. On Monday and
Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. it will
be that hero of the comic pages
and movie screens , . . "Super
man". On Tuesday and Thursday,
this same time period will be
filled by that regular of the year
"Sky King" . . . and on Friday
. . . it's the "Green Hornet".
Fun house will be back, too, but
just where we haven't found out
yet.

Summer Roundup
Howard Parent-Teacher asso
ciation will sponsor summer
roundup at Howard school on
Tuesday, June 6, for all children
who will enter school next fall
for the first time.
The roundup will be held from
1 to 4 p.m., and parents are ask
ed to telephone 2.4634 for ap
pointments which may be maae
up to noon Tuesday. Dr. A. Erin
Merkel, countv health officer,
and Mrs. Blanche Frisbie. county
health nurse, will give the physi
cal examinations.

Ryder Chronic and Al Kern
reported that recent talks with
Russians were more friendly
than before.
