Hears Year's Progrom;
New Officers Named
Mrs. Ira T. Burns gave a re
port on the next year's program
for Medford Home Extension
unit at a meeting of the group
held Wednesday. Mrs. John Con
nor reported on 4H club girls'
activities.
A lamp shade work shon is
planned by the members for Julv
and will be held in the home of
mrs. jonn xi. r-ietsch, 410 New
town street. The date is to be
set later.
Broiled dinners were demon
strated by Mrs. I. D Fitrcerolrl
assisted by Mrs. Louis Bittle. The
prepared dishes were used for
the main course of the luncheon
served at noon.
Election of officers for the
coming year was held with Mrs.
Ira T. Burns voted chairman;
Mrs. C. C. Ferris, vice-chairman;
Mrs. Fitzgerald, secretary, and
Mrs. Clarence Earl, treasurer.
Installation ceremonies will be
held at a picnic at the home of
Mrs. W. H. Dyer in June. Mrs.
C. C. Hoover will be installing
officer.

A 1940 gradutae of Medford
high school, the musician is the
sou of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Brew
er. Recently, during May Fete
coronation cercmonios held on
the campus last week, he was
one of six seniors awarded Gold
Keys for outstanding leadership,
scholarship, character and service.
Little Jerry Wayne Bennett,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Ben
nett, enjoyed a birthday party
with several small friends at his
home Tuesday afternoon. He
was two years old.
