Mr. and Mn. Hugh E. Williams were married April 21 in
the Firit Meihodiii church of Medford, and will live in Medford.
The bride formerly wai Milt Almeda M. Johnion, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. J. W. Johnion, Sticky lane, and the bridegroom's parents
are Mr. and Mrs. Leo B. Williami, 1003 Reddy avenue, Medford.

Olive Rebekah Lodge
Plans Penny Dinner
Plans for the penny dinner to
be given by Olive Rebekah lodge
members May 6 will be complet
ed at a business meeting of the
lodge Monday at 8 p.m. in the
IOOF hall.
The dinner will be held be
tween the hours of 5 and 7:30
p.m., Saturday May 6. Entertain
ment will be presented following
the dinner.
Pythian Sisters
Pythitn Sisters will hold the
regular business meeting. Tues
day, May 2 at 8 p.m. in the Pyth
ian building.
Past Chiefs' club of Pythian
Sisters will meet in the home of
Mrs. James Stewart, 336 Plum
street Wednesday, May 3 at 1
p.m. A covered dish luncheon
will be served. Those attending
are asked to take their own table
service.

The ceremony took place at
7:30 p.m., with the Rev. Mere
dith A. Greves, pastor of the
church, officiating. The bride
was given in marriage by her
father.
Bill Hess furnished the wed
ding music.
For her wedding the bride
wore a melon pink suit with
white accessories. Her corsage"
was of gardenias.
Miss Ruby Johnson, sister of
the bride, was maid of honor.
She wore a brown suit with
white accessories and her cor
sage was of gardenias.
Rollin McCormick of Corval
lis, acted as best man. Vern
Collins and Bill Singler were
ushers.
A reception was held immedi
ately after the ceremony in the
sun room of the church. Assist
ing at the reception were Mrs.
Arthur Hess, Mrs. Ross A. Min-
necci. Mrs. W. T. Wheeler and
the Misses Florence and Sarah
Johnson.
Approximately 85 persons
attended the wedding and
reception.
Pink and white blossoms
formed the background for the
wedding and were used as deco
rations for the reception.
The bride attended Grant
high school in Portland and the
bridegroom, a graduate of Med
ford high school, is employed by
Scheffel Construction company.
Out-of-town guests here for
the wedding were Mr. and Mrs.
J. L. Vann of Aberdeen. Wash.

brick and Mrs. Hattie Alden.
During a special addendum
planned for the occasion many
past matrons and past patrons
were introduced as the history
of the chapter was read by Mrs.
J. R. Woodford, each coming
through the door of a large rep

Second Anniversary

tensive plans for observance of
the bethel's second anniversary
at a meeting to be held May 11.
The event will also be in the
nature of a celebration of the
bethel's winning first prir.e with
a drill given at the recent state
meeting in Coquille.

the event, and those who plan
