breakdowns in the city's supply
facilities.

Mayor Howard Morlan said
that after bulldozer crews
bucked through 11-foot drifts to
repair one break in the feeder
main, an ice-coated bridge across
the little Luciamute river collap
scd, carrying away a 200-foot sec
tlon of the pipe.
Mayor Morlan said towns
people hoped to erect a suspen
sion bridge by tonight and splice
the break.
