Bost told the war crimes court
today that the puncturing of eye
balls was one of the many forms
of nazi tortures inflicted on
patriots of western Europe dur
ing the occupation.
Du Bost said uniform torture
methods were used' throughout
the German police system, and
the "atrocities sprang from the
center of the German govern
ment" of which many of the de
fendants were members.
