PHYSICAL DEFECTS
The children of today must
become the leaders of tomorrow.
To properly execute this leader
ship they must build themselves
both mentally and physically.
With this building they must de
velop a culture of mind and
body. Both must be properly de
veloped as each is an essential
complement to the other. Out of
this physical and mental strength
grows courage. Courage refined
by the spiritual creates confi
dence. Such courage is required
to succeed in life. But the cour
age cannot be obtained without
a background of health and
strength. Statistics inform us
that 75 of the children in our
schools have physical defects.
These defects are certain to lead
to injured health. We are told
that 90 of these defects can be
overcome by right living and
proper exercise. Correct these
defects. Give the child a better
chance for a more successful
life.
