DR. A. R. HEDGES
Chiropractic & Naturopathic
Physician
128 E. Main OiaJ 3170
Dr. Frank Crane in an editor
ial, "The First Requisite to
Sanctity," says: "A great deal of
what we call 'Sin' is due to what
the physician calls 'Stasis' an
imperfect movement of the in
testinal contents. A person may
have the highest ideals, the
purest asperations, the noblest
intentions; he may be a devotee
of uplift literature, he may be
instinct in prayer and earnest of
spirit, and yet wonder why
gloom, depression and fear con
stantly assail him, and he often
does not realize that his trials
are due to a clogged colon and
not to any spirit of evil. If he
would get the colon bacilli out
of his system, his terrible temp
tations might disappear. There is
a vast deal of moral and religious
work that physicians might do if
they would induce people to
cleanse the body as well as the
body-surface. The first requisite
to 'Sanctity' is to keep the in-1
testines open." 1
