Friday evening, Medford Jun
ior high school will open its
doors promptly at 7 o'clock to
provide entertainment for the
public, the occasion being the an
nual fal) carnival. The varied
program will furnish amusement
for young and old.
Main event in the auditorium,
will feature Ray Henderson's
minstrels with the traditional in
terlocutor, end men, costumes,
music, dances and jokes. , .
At 8:15 booths, concessions and
shows will open. The amateur
show will consist of perform
ances by students possessing tal
ents in different fields. Three
comics will be shown for movie
fans. A style show is to be put
on by the boys. Beauty shop at
tendants will apply make-up.
Games will include ring the
duck, spot, baseball, darts, and
rollo, fish pond, grab bag and
a booth where noise makers and
serpentine may be purchased.
For refreshments one may buy
hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn balls,
ice cream, and soft drinks. Cof
fee, pie, and cake will be served
at reasonable prices in the cafe
teria by the P.-T.A.
As a convenience for visitors,
there will be a check room for
wraps.
A small general admission
charge will be made at the door.
The public is urged to attend
not only to enjoy themselves but
to help the school financially in
an effort to secure more advan
tages for the students.

1945-46 concert season here ac

chairman. The annual member
ship campaign closed Saturday

Kaye, dramatic soprano current
ly singing leaders with the Chi
cago Opera company. Miss Kaye
will bt making her first concert
tour of the west.
