Major Hoppe Leaves Major
Walt E. Hoppe is to leave the
city today to return to duties as
head of the oral surgery depart
ment at Barnes General hospital,
Vancouver, Wash. The officer
has been spending a leave with
his wife and family at 1806 East
Main street since Thursday.
Sullivan Promoted John F.
Sullivan, son of Mr. and Mrs.
John E. Sullivan, and husband
of Mrs. Ruth Martha Francis
Sullivan, route 1, box 129, Med
ford, has been promoted to cor
poral at Fort Douglas, Utah, ac
cording to word from his head
quarters. Cpl. Sullivan, on duty
with the post medical detach
ment, entered the army Feb. 12,
1943.
