HOW PAPER AIDS THE WAR EFFORT
It requires 96 tons of supplies for every fighting man across the Pacific. Most of
these supplies are paper-wrapped and some are double and triple-wrapped. Why
so much wrapping? To prevent the mildew and rot that causes so much loss.
There isn't enough paper to supply war and civilian requirements fully.
HOW TIN AIDS THE WAR EFFORT
Our Armed Forces need the tin to protect much of the food sent to our men. In
addition, medicines, blood plasma outfits and other items are made wholly or par
tially of tin. Prepare cans by washing thoroughly, removing labels, turn in or cut
off ends and flatten firmly. Pack them in strong containers.
HOW THE CRIPPLED CHILDREN BENEFIT
Manufacturers who process both paper and tin pay for all salvage material. This
money usually pays the cost of salvage drives. In this campaign the members of
Hillah Temple are contributing their effort and all "proceeds will go directly to
' the Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children. You help this worthy cause when
you help your Nation!
