Headline Big Bond Premiere

Wednesday evening brings to
the stage and screen of the Holly
theatre Medford's Mighty Sev
enth War Loan Bond Premiere.
Presenting in person on the stage
Captain Robert F. Augur, of
Portland, guest speaker of the
evening. Captain Augur is a vet
eran of the Corregidor campaign;
lost his left leg on Corregidor
and spent 33 months as a pris
oner of the Japanese in the no
torious Bilibid prison of Manila.
Captain Augur is the holder of
many service awards and is star
speaker for Oregon's 7th War
Loan Drive.
Judy Garland and Robert
Walker, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's
new romantic team star in "The
Clock." It is the tender, heart
warming story of the romance
between Bob, as a soldier in New
York City for the first time, on
a 48-hour pass, and Judy, as a
lovely girl who takes the lonely
service man to her heart.
Directed with genuine under
standing by Vincente Minnelli,
who made "Meet Me In St
Louis," and handsomely pro
duced by Arthur Freed, "The
Clock" is destined to be a screen
favorite. An outstanding sup
porting cast is featured in the at
traction headed bjt Keenan
Wynn, James Gleason, Ruth
Brady and Marshall Thompson.
Other short featurettes will com
plete the program.
. Free Bond Premiere tickets
may be secured by buying a

miere tickets. Or may be se
cured at the Holly theatre the
night of the show. Only one

ZW-111, a water soluble salt of Dinitro-o-cyclohexylphenol,
has been thoroughly tested
and proven by three years of successful com
mercial use for the control of Rust Mites and
Spider Mites in the Rogue River Valley. Not
only is the initial kill extremely high but due
to its prolonged toxic action the product re
mains effective for several days, (thus giving
the opportunity for a thorough and complete
clean up of the pest. While in most cases
one application is sufficient, two applications
may be found necessary in orchards where
late colonies of spider mites have become
established.
ZW-111 can be used as separate spray with
out spreaders, stickers or wetting agents, or
it may be used in combination with lead
arsenate by the addition of Colloidal Z-l
Spreader. Its use will not interfere with or
complicate any coddling moth spray program
if properly timed nor complicate the subse
quent removal of spray residue from the fruit,
ZW-111 applied as directed by your County
Horticulturist or local Dow dealer will give
excellent results in the control of Rust Mites
and Spider Mites.
