been impossible to maintain full production of
cakes, pies and cookies. Production of bread
and rolls has not been affected. While we have
a fair supply of shortening In jars for home use, we
will not use it for baking as that would deprive you
of shortening for home use.
' We have, however, planned a cake which we can
bake with our limited supplies. This a good whole
some Golden Sponge Cake while not of the texture
and richness of Home Purity Cakes is covered with a
fine boiled Icing and will, we are sure, please your
family.
