attributed
most of It to
neglect of edu-
cation . . . You
may be right
as far as you
go, but I ques
tion any man's
ability to ap
preciate the
misery most
women have to

But if education can alleviate
this age old suffering of women,
I'm for it. I have a daughter
whom I would protect if I knew
how. But I doubt that education
alone will remedy this inherent
feminine weakness. Most worn
en know the cause of their pain
but that knowledge does not al-
levlate the discomfort. So please
bring on this education of which
you speak. Tens of thousands of
us can use it. But for pete's sake
please refrain from discounting a
woman's ever present scourge

menorrhea is in most instances
due to neglect of education I
necessarily refer to mental de
velopment only. Honest educa

the crowning piece of stupidity,
if I know what stupidity means.

The army and navy are placing
their accent on extreme youth
for the remainder of the war
against Japan.
Approximately 45 per cent of
the July draft calNpf 90,000 men
will be made up of 18 year olds.
The percentage may be larger
later on. The 18-year-olds must
however, ' be given six months'
training before being sent into
combat. That's by congressional
decree.
Almost all the remainder of
men to be called up will be un
der 30. Selective Service an
nounced yesterday that all men
30 and over would henceforth be
deferred "indefinitely" as long
as they hold useful jobs.
