A public Inspection of the new
Llttrell Farta building, located
at Sixth and Bartlett streets, will
be held Saturday, according to
E. A. Littrell, manager.
Llttrell Parts has a record of
22 years in Medford under one
management, Llttrell said. The
firm was started In a location on
Front street and moved to 315
East Main street two years later
where It has been for the past 20
years. Personnel numbers 27
plus seven In the armed forces.
The new building, wwcn was
recently constructed next to the
old Safeway store, which also
was made a part of the new Litt
rell building, houses the whole
sale store while the former Safe-
wav building will be occupied by
the office and machine shop
where ten men are employed In
motor rebuilding, metalizing,
crankshaft grinding and other
custom work.
There has been an Intercom
municatlon system Installed and
a switchboard with 14 tele
phones, Littrell said. Flourescent
lighting Is used throughout the
building, whlcn has a glass Dncn
front on the Bartlett street side.
A hydraulic elevator operates
from the first floor to the base
ment.
The building measures 100 by
100 feet with a basement 100 by
50 feet. There Is 15.000 square
feet of floor space In the store.
About 27 are employed In the
local concern and 12 others are
employed at branches In Yreka,
Calif., and Grants Pass.

Camp McLoughlln, Boy Scout
camp, located on the shores of
Lake O'Woods, will open July 4
for Its 18th year, Gordon Gil
more, scout executive for Med
ford, announced this week.
The camp season will Include
five separate periods and will re
main open until August 8. The
cost for one week will be $10.
All registered scouts, with their
parents' and scoutmaster's ap
proval, may attend.
In addition to the permanent
camp staff, leaders will be Gil-
more and Harold Ylvisakor,
camp directors. The central
staff consists of a registered
nurse, a certified Red Cross wa
terfront director, an experienced
cook, and an excellent Junior
staff, Gllmore said.
Program for this year Includes
swimming and boating, hiking,
riding, handicraft, any many oth
er ?amp activities. The camp al
so provides a trading post,
church, food, mall service and
transportation expenses. A court
of honor will be held at the
closing campfire each week.
