Ore., to visit Jamieson's parents
before ha reports back to
Seattle.

PRODUCTION IN ASHLAND
Ashland, April 28 First cake
of dry ice to be turned out by
the new Gas Ice corporation
plant near Lithia Springs in the
Dead Indian district was brought
into Ashland Thursday. It was
placed on the city plaza Friday
morning and a fair-sized piece
was still there Saturday morn
ing. It measured about 10 inches
square and weighed about 40
pounds.

Be Shown To Vets
Dr. W. W. Howard of Med
ford, one of the few men who
have made the boat trip from
Grants Pass to the ocean down
the Rogue river, will exhibit pic
tures taken on the trip to mem
bers of the Col Sargent camp of
United Spanish War Veterans
and auxiliary at a meeting in
Medford armory Wednesday

There will be a covered dish
dinner in the basement of the
armorv at 6:30 p. m. and the
pictures will be shown imme
diately after. All veterans are
welcome, according to F. E.
Thompson, commander.
