Relays to Be Held
Friday, Saturday
Des Moines, la., April 24 (U.R)
Relays Director M. E. Easton
said today more than 1,000 ath
letes from 131 colleges, univer

Many big names are missing.
So are large squads, but Easton

ably with- the 1942 event, the
last time the meet was held with
full-strength collegiate squads
competing.
There are 328 Individual en
tries from 33 university and col
leges compared with 2B4 from
36 schools a year ago. The high

with 969 preppers from 81
schools scheduled to compete on
Friday. College and university
events are limited to Saturday.
