Hayes, who hit two-run homer
Friday, came through with an

Louis Cardinals made their home
debut, edging the Cincinnati
Reds by a 3-2 score. The win
ning run came In the last half
of the ninth on Hopp's single

Volselle won his second game
of the young season today, spac
ing 11 hits for a 3-2 win over
the Brooklyn Dodgers In a game
twice halted by rain.

ACHIEU, MOREUJ
T
Walter "Sneeze" Achleu, the
great Chinese wrestler, and
Tony Morelli are being consider
ed by Promoter Mack Llllard as
a possible foe for the Gray Mask
next Thursday night. Achleu
won last week's battle royal
while Morelli was giving tough
Tony Ross a thorough thumping.
Llllard said he was not cer
tain yet what sort of arrange
ment he would be able to make
for Thursday's wrestling card,
but said he was attempting to
line up 'the strongest possible
program and would endeavor to
sign either Achieu or Morelli to
face the Mask.
Others who will probably be
on the card are kidney-punching
Billy McEuin, Gust Johnson,
Ross and Harold (Blood and
Guts) Davidson, the former marine.
