Now this poor girl's education

In the same mail with this
quaint query came this whole
some comment
I was 33 when my first baby
was born, and in a way I am
not sorry 1 started so late, be
cause if I had been younger my
husband and I might not have
appreciated what wonderful
happiness we have in these
three boys that God gave us
to raise for Him. Of course they
make plenty of work and they
. try our patience at times But
we think of our grandparents
raising their large families with
none of the modern labor-saving
conveniences and we wonder
what they would think of mar
ried folk today who regard the
rearing of one or two children
as a tremendous burden . . . We
know of any number of yout.g
couples who spend enough
money on week-end "parties",
night-clubs etc., to support ade
quately a fair-size family. Yet
they are the very ones who Just
can't see their way to having
children now . .
