    WEILLS' PARENTS
RECEIVE DETAILS
OF FATAL FLIGHT
Mr. and Mrs. J. C. S. Weills.
30 Keene Way, Sunday received
details of the last mission of
KO! For
fhe biggesf
saboteur off all
Every so' often men of the
FBI catch an enemy agent...
two or three ... a dozen. But
they never get the Big Fellow.
Yet the Big Fellow master
saboteur of all is known and
finger-printed. His name is Ac
cident Adolf I. (for Indus
trial) Accident.
War-hurry and the inexpe
rience of many workers have
helped Herr Accident run up a
terrific score of slow-down in
America. Since 1941, the Big
Fellow has been the equivalent
of many divisions on Hitler's
side. Yet industry is fighting
him tooth and nail. Last year,
for example, this company did
a tremendous war-job at home
without out fatality.
You'd scarcely expect us to
make our best safety record in
a war-year. Yet that happened.
Some 20,000 persons work for
this company many at rugged
jobs. In the field they handle
Heavy drilling equipment In
refineries they work with ma
chinery thats big ituS. You
know the big delivery tanks on
the highways. Yet the record
contains no fatality in 1944.
In that year, we did mors
drilling, more refining, more
delivering than ever. Notably,
we drilled the deepest oil well
in the world without one dis
abling accident.
Since we do so much work
for the Army and Navy, almost
everything was a rush job. How
was it done safely? Years of
safety engineering bore fruit.
Our safety experts gave every
thing they had. Our people
added their whole-hearted aid.
For the war gave them a new
slant They saw safety as a pa
triotic weapon. With it they
struck back at the Big Fellow.
With it, they fought Hen Ac
cident master saboteur of all.
