A Worthy Cat -To
the Editor. I feel that
Micky, known and loved by
many people In southern Oregon
Is worthy of having his obituary
published in your newspaper.
Mickey was not pure-bred
Persian cat. He was a hall
breed. He was born June 19,
1925 and died March 10. 1949.
He was very Intelligent and we
never could quite understand
how the wheels went around so
rapidly in his little cat brain.
His temperament held all the
bright hues of the rainbow.
He never molested the. birds
and many times we have' seen
him sitting on our deck steps
: with his two pals, our red Setter
and red Cocker watching covey
after covey of Quail pass within
10 feet of him without moving
an eye-brow or swinging his tail.
He knew they were our friends
and to be left alone. He knew
' his way around and adapted him-
self to any situation. He car
ried himself with dignity and
position.
Mickey was not buried under
the rose vine in our garden by
my husband, misty eyed, and
laid tenderly away. Micky was
buried in cur hearts.

mains will be shipped to Arroyo
Grande, Calif., for interment.
