Even now there's a Salrey-

usually a well meaning woman
who has had no scientific or tech

Some of you dunderheads who
know so much about the baby
business that Isn't so will be as
tonished, perhaps, that I do not
assert, in my w.k. fashion, that
Dames NEVER have colic. Un
fortunately a few babies suffer
from paroxysmal spasmodic Dain

have some grave Illness such as
I shall -lot mention here, for it
would only give health Ignorant
mothers something more to
worry about. But I can assure
you that when a baby has such
colic he does NOT draw up his
legs, get red in the face and
holler like anything; on the con

It is natural for a healthy baby
to draw up his legs, get red In
the face and yell to bent 'the

ne is hungry and dinner Is not
served promptly; or when thai

you keep him all bundled up

A common cause of the dis
