Goolsby stated he looked In
his rear view mirror in time to
see Beberniss' truck leave the
highway. Tire tracks showed
the truck had been driven along
the edge of the roadway 113

yon, according to Deputy Cor
oner Carlos Morris, who aided
state police in the investigation.
After leaving the highway, the
truck rolled 102 feet down into
the canyon before stopping
