Jackson county officials, said to
day he had found a witness
who possibly could identify the
slayers ot State Sen. Warren G.
Hooper.
The 41-year-old Republican
senator, revealed to have been
a principal -surprise witness -in
a drive to rid the state of capltol
graft, wag shot three times
thru the head Thursday night
at desolate point along a high
way leading from the state capi
tal to his Albion home. Hooper's
body was lett In his flaming
