Daring the Sixth Weir
Loan Drive....
f Some people- it seems, can become callous to death
W and suffering. It is difficult for those little affect
ed by actual fighting to understand the heartaches
and tragedies that touch individual lives. For when
death and destruction occur on a mass scale, what
happens to ONE. American soldier doesn't seem quite
so important to some folks . . . But, to his parents, wife
or other members of his family death means the end
of everything ... it means the end of HIS dreams of
a happy home, a family,' a future . . . Until Victory
has been finally won there's a job to be done by Ameri
v can boys-our own sons, and our neighbors' youngsters.'
They will fight and die so that we, who still enjoy safety
and plenty, may look to this Victory with greater assur
ance today than ever before. No good American, who
soberly reflects upon the price that must be paid to
win this war, can afford NOT to do his full share to .
hasten the day of peace. So, let us all do our full share,
little as it may be, to provide the tools for Victory. Let
us, in a typical American way, invest to the very limit
of our ability in Sixth War Loan bonds. Let us buy
proudly for the security of our Nation and the security
of our homes in years to come!
