at saw mills and yards totaled
3,960,908,000 board feet on
Sept. 30, or a decrease of 3.8
per cent from stocks on hand
June 30.

tion yard stocks have declined
steadily since 1941 when lum
ber stocks amounted to 10,012,
000,000 board leet.
