will be, "Objectives for Good
Citizens."
Mr. Doe. with Safeway Stores,
Inc., for 25 years, is the oldest
employee of the company in
years of continuing service.
Graduating from Iowa Wesleyan
college flVIt. Pleasant. Iowa,) in
1918, he first served in World
War I and then joined Safeway
Stores in Burley, Idaho, when

stores. Today the organization
has grown to a total of approxi
mately 2500 stores.
In succession, Mr. - Doe has
been a vegetable washer, sales
man,, store manager, supervisor,
buyer, district manager, and now
vice-president and director of

Mr. Doe has addressed national
and international audiences of
service clubs, consumer, pro
ducer and business groups, in
cluding the annual convention
of Rotary International at Den
