over Pendleton, 37 to 7, to keep
a spotless record. Unbeaten Til

Oregon as to Identity of the Gray
Mask, the grappler with the case
hardened skull who has won his
last four appearances on Mack
Llllard's weekly cards.
The Mask and Buck Davidson
will probably be paired In a re
turn bout Thursday night, ac
cording to Lillard Davidson has
been warned that Illegal meth
ods will not be permitted and
that he must concentrate on legi
timate holds and not on efforts
to remove the hood from the
Masked man. The Mask has
promised to remove his mask
when and If he Is beaten In the
Medford ring.
Some spectators say the Mask
Is King Kong Cox, who wrestled
here some years ago and others
say he may be the Jones boy or
possibly Tony Morelll. One avid
fan was overheard to say that
"he knew for a fact that the
Mask was none other than a for

six-man football encounter were
victorious over Phoenix at Jack
sonville Friday. eDspite it being
Friday the 13th the Redskins
ran up a score 43 to 13.
The Redskins scored three
times In the first quarter, twice
In the second and once In the re
maining two quarters. The Jack
sonville team was sparked by
Max Killingsworth, Wesley Grln
sted, Elvis Offenbacher and
Noll Meyer. Outstanding defense
was shown by Paul Hcnspeter.
The game was marked by good
sportsmanship on both teams.
Jacksonville will meet Gold
Hill Friday, Oct. 20. at Gold Hill

The payoff came In the sec
ond period after both lines had
fought to a savage stand-off.
Hamberg entered the game at
the start of the second frame.
He boomed a 45-yard punt
which Duke's Davis fumbled on
his goal line, but recovered and
brought out to the six. Duke was
forced to punt. Hamberg re
turned It 15 yards to Duke's 45.
Here, Navy discovered a
weakness in the Duke line and
exploited it. Scott moved to the
33 on three plays and Hamberg
carried to the 10 on three more.
After Navy had been set back
10 yards five on a penalty
Hamberg rifled a pass to Guy,
who took the toss on the- 10,
worked out of a trap and raced
over.

wave rolled over the Rice In
stitute Owls, here today by a
score of 21 to 0 before 28,000
fans.
It was a case of Tulane's back
field power being too much for
the Owls, who spent the whole
