"lend-lease" blood plasma to the
free French, an American Legion
leader charged today.
l. F. "Ole" Olson, past Junior
commander of the American Leg
ion County Council, said he had
made an investigation of the
case and would present the facts
to the American Legion Council
"for action."
Olson said several local lab
oratories were soliciting donors
to sell blood nt $4 a pint while
the Red Cross was far behind ill
its quotas.
"I understand the plasma Is
being produced for the free
French under a lend-lease agree
ment by the war department,"
he said.

years, said today he will leave
for Brazil "in the near future"
