"Mask of Dimitrios" Show

On Rialto Screen.
Murder, international in
trigue and espionage comprise
the background for the new
film opening today at the Cra
terian. It's "The Mask of Dimi
trios," and boasts a superlative
cast, starring Sydney Green
street, Zachary Scott, Faye
Emerson, Peter Lorre and Vic
tor Francen.
Zachary Scott, a newcomer to
the screen, plays the title role,
while Greenstreet is seen as an
unscrupulous Englishman and
Peter Lorre as a Dutch writer
of mystery stories. Faye Emer
son supplies the love interest
and Victor Francen plays the
role of an international spy.
An excellent supporting cast
Includes Steven Geray, Edward
Ciannelli, Kurt Katch, Mar
Jorie Hoshelle, Georges Metaxa,
Monte Blue and others.
The screenplay was adapted
from the Eric Ambler novel, "A
Coffin for Dimitrios," by mys
tery writer Frank Gruber.
"Mr. Winkle Goes to War"
and "Pardon My Ryhtem" are
the two headline features on
the Rialto's .screen starting today.

which resulted in his arrest on
charges of contributing to the
delinquency of two girl minors
consisted of talking, dancing
and moderate drinking by the
made guests.
The naval V-12 trainee at
Notre Dame University held to

immoral about the party and
flatly denied that a 16 year old
girl witness for the state saw

Maj. Thomas C. Wallace, her
studio announced tonight.
Miss Landis, studio repre
sentatives said, gave no reason
for her break with the army air
force officer and former Eagle
squadron flier whom she mar
ried in London, Jan. 5, 1943.
She had met him while on a

tainment tour of American ar
my and navy posts in the Euro
pean and Mediterranean thea
ters. The blond actress returned to
the United States just two
weeks ago after touring the
