marked or designated for cut
ting and all merchantable dead
timber located on an area em
bracing about 17110 acres within
Sections 24 and 25, T. 30 S., R,
3 E and Sections 18, 19. 20, 21,
22, 27, and 28, T. 30 S., R. 4 E.,
W. M., Rogue River National
Forest, Oregon, estimated to be
11,500,000 feet B.M., more or
less, of Douglas-fir, and 1,500,
000 feet B.M., more or less, of
white fir and Shasta red fir, and
an unestimated amount of other
species of saw-timber. No bid of
less than $4.60 per M feet for
Douglas-fir, S8.60 per M feet for
white pine, $5.G0 per M feet for
ponderosa pine, S9.60 per M feet
for sugar pine and $2.00 per M
f.r?t for white fir, western hem
lock, Shasta red fir, and other
species will be considered. In
determining the high bid, the
rate for Douglas-fir, white fir,
and Shasta red fir only will be
considered. Bids with rates in
excess of those permissible
under MPR 400 will be reduced
to the allowable maximum in
making the award. In addition
to the prices bid for the stump
age, a cooperative deposit of
$0.50 per M feet B.M. to be used
by the Forest Service for paying

on the area cut over, for the
total cut of timber under the
terms of the agreement, will be

of sale. Tho right to reject any
and all bids Is reserved. Before
bids are submitted, full Informa
tion concerning the timber, the
condltlont of sale and submis
sion of bids should be obtained
