Children under sixteen years
of age of course should not take
coffee at all.
Invalids should not decide the
matter for themselves but ask
their own physician whether
they may have coffee.
Persons with coronary throm

heart disease should know that
coffee (caffeine) tends to dilate
the coronary arterioles and so
promotes freer supply of blood
to the heart muscle for this
reason coffee Is particularly pre

or how much coffee the patient
can take.
