ITH the point value of butter and cheese
so high and your allowable meat points so
low for the five weeks period, you'll hava
to watch your step when buying meats. ,
Let's take a family of four as an example. The
' allowable points are 40 each 160 for the five weeks
period. One pound of butter a week would use
80 of the 160 points leaving 80 for meat for 35
days 2 2-5 points per day.
' Since you must buy mostly unrationed meats, your Groceterias
to make it easier for you will display the rationed and unrationed
meats in separate cases.
You will have plenty of meat, but you must be careful to
avoid using your points too rapidly.
