Nashville, Tcnn., Aug 12

dent of the Amateur Sofcball
Association of America, today
announced the sites and dates for
eight of the 12 regional tournaments.
Tough Tony Morelll,
maniac who makes a
of cmn'oying various
against his grappling foes, will
be forced to undergo a public
search In plain view of armory
customers whenever he wrestles
here In the future.
This was the decision of the
Medford boxing and wrestling
commission which met Friday
afternoon to decide whether the
ferocious Floririan should be
suspended or a' lowed to con
tlnue operating In Medford.
The rearch will take place In
the center of the ring, and will
be conducted by unnamed offi
cials who will see to it that Mo
relll hasn't secreted any hard
objeos in his trunks, shoes,
mouth or under bandages.
The rommission, which also
warned Morelll that any more
monkev business would result in
his immediate disbarment, took
-the action following Thursday
nipht's brawl between Morelll
and Jack Lloscomb.
In that affair, Morelll used the
handle of a wafer faucet to em
nhnslze his blows to Lipscomb's
back and head. The handle was
hidden by tape around MorelH's
knee, and caused Lipscomb
many unnuppy moments
In previous matches, Morelll
had used a pop bottle to bean
Katonen and a rubber stamp to
crape across Herb Parks' eyes.
Now, bv the commission's action,
he will fir.d it extremely diffi
cult to get his hands on anything
he shouldn t.
With Morelll given the green
light to continue wrestling here,
after being searched every time
he appears, Promoter Mack Lil
lard said Saturday that he would
try to bring Tony and Lipscomb
together again next Thursday
evening.
Lipscomb, Llllard said, wants
to meet Morelll on a winner-take-all
basis.
