The Office of price administra
tion announced today that 7,000,
000 pairs of "odd lot" shoes will
become ration-free at specified
price reductions between July
10 and July 29.
Certain types of men's and
women's shoes of all sizes and
youth's and boys' shoes, sizes one
to six, will become available for
purchase without stamps to aid
dealers in disposing of broken
sizes and styles.

blood donors to form the list to
be used in necessary transfu
sions was reported this- week.
More volunteers are needed,
however, the committee head

will be made throughout June.

in and be tested that his type
of blood may be registered and

The need for establishment of
a list of blood donors in this
county has been realized in
many emergencies through the
years. The amount of time to
be saved by previous typing of
blood may often represent the
difference between life and
death to the individual in need
of a transfusion, committee
workers explained.
The list of donors to be com
piled after tests are made will
ho maintained bv the Health as
sociation and placed in all hos
pitals of the county so mat doc
tors will know wnom to can
when an emergency arises.
