An evening of rare musical
entertainment Is. promised to
night for Camp White men when
the brilliant violinist, 17-year-old
Alice Stockton of Tacoma,
and her equally brilliant accom
panist, Mildred Tummonds, also
of Tacoma, appear in formal con
cert at chapel six, Avenue C and
Ninth street. The concert will be
the highlight of a busy week of
appearance for the two young
artists. The concert la at seven
o'clock tonight.
This noon Mlsa Stockton and
Miss Tummonds entertained
members of the Medford Rntarv
club, tomorrow they play at
service club No. 2 In the early
evening and later will make an
Intermission amwaranra aft a
danca at Service Club No. 1.
Thursdav they will play on the
Camp White radio hour In the
evening and later during the In
termission at tne New Year's eve
dance at Service Club No. 2.
Friday evening a concert is
planned for Chanel one at 8-19
o'clock and Sunday the two mu
sicians will play for Holy Com
munion service at chapel six at
0:00 and 10:00 a. m. and at
chapel 12 at 11:15 a. m. Sunday
evening Miss Stockton and Miss
Tummonds leave for the north.
Both musicians are plavers of
unusual ability and training, ac
cording to Chimin In EIH. W
Borrell of Camp White, who ar
ranged for their trip to Medford.
Miss Stockton played for the
Crown Prince and Princess of
Norway when only 12 years of
age, and Miss Tummonds was for
two years official pianist for the
King and Queen of Belgium
while studying In that country
