Bryant, 66, who died her Sep
tember 29, will ba held at the
Litwiler chapal at 3 p. m. Frt
day, the Rev, J. R. Turnbull
officiating. Interment will be
in Aihland cemetery. The Med
ford Eagle lodge, of which he
wai a member, will be In
charge.
Mr. Bryant, who was born In
Boston, Mass., July 4, 1B86,
resided on Route 3, Ashland.
Ke passed away at the home of
his mother, Mrs. Ruth Turner,
following a week's illness with
heart condition.
He is survived by two daugh
ters, June Bryant of Ashland
and Mrs. Ruth deLespinesse of
Portland; his mother and one
brother, Grover Bryant of Mad
ford. The Grange
Central Point Orange
Annual booster night will be
held Friday by Central Point
Grange with an Interesting pro
gram for Grangers and friends,
including contests, games and
fun for all with some worthwhile
prizes for high scores. Two sur
prise numbers with outside tal
ent are booked. The meeting
will be open.
H. E. Club met September 23
at the home of Mary Maury with
good attendance. It was voted to
dispense with the annual fall
dinner and hold a food sale In
atead. In answering queries
from the state H. E. chairman. It
was found a majority had grown
victory gardens and had canned
a good supply of vegetables. The
hostesses was assisted in serving
by Mrs. Malnard and Mrs. Vin
