men'i and women'i welding
classes being conducted dally at
the high school as many of the
students .eave to taks up em
ployment in the shipyards on
the Pacific coast. Classes jre
held on a 24-hour schedule and
allow persons to continue In
their regular positions and take
the welding classes during their
spare hours.

ca..:ity is 79 students who give
three hours daily to the instruc
tion. Man'-, Hedrick stated, will

Patricia Ann Bagley, Infant
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Bagley, 623 S. Holly street,
smothered to death in the bed
clothing of her crib at the fam
ily home Wednesday afternoon.
Patricia Ann was born in Med
ford on May 17 1942.
Besides her parents, she leaves
her sister, Susan Joan, and her
grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. F. J.
Burns of Salem, Oregon, and
Mrs. Harriett Bagley of Port
land, Oregon.
Funeral services will be held
In Portland Saturday at 2 p. m.
at the A. J. Rose funeral home.
Perl funeral home Is in charge
of the local arrangements.
