vice command training school at
Wright Field, Dayton, Ohio, hav
ing been ordered to report there
from the air corps gunnery
school. Las Vegas, Nev. Lieuten
ant Gaddis, as a reserve officer,
was called to active duty April
3, 1941, and was first assigned to
Moffett Field near San Fran
cisco. On June 1, 1941, he wag
transferred to Las Vegas.

the pet parade, featuring dogs,
ducks, a goat, a pig, a porcupine,
a turkey, a calf, two cub bears
in a wooden cage and even a
pair of beauteous maidens. Each
unit of the 91st division entered.
