IN TUESDAY MEET
Latest rulings of the national
rationing authorities will be dis
cussed at a meeting of tire in
spectors working under the
Medford rationing board at a
meeting Tuesday at 7:30 p. m.
in the city council rooms, city
hall. Hobart Price, secretary of
the board, and Leonard Car
penter, chairman of the county
rationing committee, state that
the meeting is very Important
and urge all inspectors to at
tend. "The tire situation Is defin
itely not Improving," Mr. Car
penter said yesterday, "and the
inspectors and board members
will discuss the new rulings and
endeavor to work out some plan
wnereby the limited number of
tires available can be used to
best possible advantage for the
district as a whole. The- local
quota is being reduced steadily
and everyone may as well face
the (act that replacements for
tires will be absolutely impos
sible." .
