Seattle, Aug. 3. AP) A 20-year-old
ex-high achool athlete
and Hl-Y member Is being held
by King county officers today
after hut confession ha had crim
inally assaulted four women, at
tempted assaults on two other
and molested three small girls.
Undersheriff Louis J. Forbes
said the youth was picked up
yesterday after a 23-year-old girl
he had purportedly assaulted
Saturday furnished police with
the first two numbers from hut
license plates, a description of
his automobile and told of a
lunchbucket bearing the Inscrip
tion "Dafey" which aha saw In
the automobile.
Armed with this Information,
officers traced the car and found
the lunchbucket. Taken Into cus
tody, tha youth readily admitted
eijht other moral crimes dating
back to 1939.
The youth was employed at a
flour mill. .
