The U. S. O. drive chairman
reported on the grand results
his committee showed and
thanked members for their co
operation. State Deputy Elmer MeClure
was present and spoke of the
need for continued grange acti
vities and warned of the pros
pect for a more severe labor
shortage in the needed effort of
farmers to produce more agri
cultural products.
Lecturer's hour was devoted
to the "Keep Oregon Green"
theme, the following members
participating: C. H. Elmore, Ber
teena Elmore, Benjamin F. Ellis
and Beryl Elmore. Elsie Han
sen closed the program by play
ing "America the Beautiful."
