suggestion yesterday when she
said that powdered saccharin di
luted in water is an exeellea
substitute for sugar- She sug
gested one teaspoon of powder
ed saccharin In an eight ounce
bottle, to which should be added
a bit of hot water and then fill
with cold water and shake until
dissolved. This forms a sweet
liquid which Is not bitter like
aechrrin tablets. One half tea
spoon of the liquid flavors cof
fee or tea and one teaspoon add
ed to cereal proves a useful ad
dition. Measurments can be
figured to suit the individual,
she stated.
