The procession will start at
Skinner's garage on South River
side hI 2:30 p. m. and march up
Riverside to Main and West on
Main street to the court house.
They will turn on Oakdale to
Sixth and East on Sixth street
to Victory Center where the
group will disband. The 13-ton
U. S. army tank will be left in
Victory Center (located directly
behind the Jackson county
Chamber of Commerce building)
for personal inspection by the
thousands expected to be in Med
ford for this first visit by a
movie star on behalf of Jackson
county's Defense Bond Drive.
At Victory Center the star
will climb into an army Jeep and
will make the rounds of seven
temporary bond booths, on im
portant street corners, to sell
and autograph defense bonds and
stamps,
A patriotic rally will be held
at Victory Center at 7:30 p. m.
to allow the star to personally
meet and sell stamps to southern
Oregonians. He will autograph
large quantities of bonds at this
time as well as meet the mayor
and give a short talk on "The
Boys." The popular youngster
will also demonstrate his "Tar
zan" yell. One of the valley's
largest bands will furnish mari
tial music for the event.
! Next on the program will be
a personal appearance from the
I stage of the Craterian theatre at
9 p. m. and another appearance
at the Holly theatre at 9:30 p.
m. Sheffield will sell bonds in
; the lobby of both theatres be-
; tween those hours.
