Lieut. Comdr. C. H. Fogg,
commanding the navy's short
patrol in his area, gave this
notice to a meeting called by
the Southern California Tavern
association.

swered the invitation to become
members of the church. Two

were Christian ministers now
living in Medford while assist
ing in construction of the army
base. The audience practically
filled the center section of seats
in the tabernacle.
Tonight a much larger audi
ence is expected to hear the ser
mon on "The Unopened Door."
It is a sermon on prayer, which
is, according to Evangelist Fife,
an untried door for multitudes
of church people as well as those
outside.
