All of a Hidden Lavinla was

"If you think you cai walk out
on me," ihe said, "and then barge
right back into my life, expecting
me to to welcome you with

until she located the driver.
"Andvl" ah called.
"Yes. Misi Prentiss." Andy came

"Nobody's stopping you," laid
Lavinia.
"All right, Lavinla You see, I-
"But I hardly think Andy want

"Oh said Rod. "Well, Ml

"And you'll have more time to
think up new angles," said Lavi
nia. -
"I don't need any time for that,"
Rod said. "Bjt I suppose it would
b better to talk after w get to
the farm. It's a long story, and"
"And you're probably stuck
with it," aaid Lavinia.

ROD laughed, not very mirth
fully. "No, I'm not, ' he said.
"But I have been carrying It
around with me waiting to tell It

'Really?"
"I rushed back from Boston to
tell you all that was In my heart,
Lavinia, but you'd gone."
"So you want me to think you

"I did g to Boston."
"In that battered boat of yours?"
"No, I let a fisherman friend
have that for a few days."
"Oh!" said Lavinla, Her Inter
est wai aroused.
"When I got back from Boston
is when I met your aunt" said Rod.
"Say. Aunt Dorcas is a peach!"
"So you're calling her that,"

Lavinia.
"Yes. Lavinla." laid Rod, "sh
believed. And 1 pray God you'll
do the same."
When they reached the farm,
and as soon as Rod had made ar
