TIPS GIVEN ON
TAX PR0IECT10N
The writing of one's name and
city or name and license number
across the face of the motor ve
hicle tax stamp was suggested
by Postmaster Frank DeSouza to
day as a precautionary move
against theft.
The postmaster pointed out
that there is no identifying mark
on the stamps and conceivably
they could be stolen after they
have been nasted on the cars.
The identification, he pointed
out, may be written by hand or
typed across the stamps.
