En Route "City of San Francisco" to Chicago, Nov. 24. The
"City of San Francisco" is more splendiferous train than the
"City of Portland", and should be, for there is a small extra
charge.
But it makes the same time, so the "extra" is for extra luxury
and extra gadgets, larger diner, observation car In addition to
club car, stenographer, hostesses and valets. Rosey would beam
with satisfaction if he could see the crowd on board, no empty
space on this voyage.
We will be In Chicago In the morning!
Doesn't seem possible, for we only left the 'Top of the Mark"
at the Mark Hopkins a few hours ago, or so it seems.
But that's the way these modern streamliners, STREAM!
It was glorious day In S. F. and the view from the "Top of
tne Mark" was worth the price of admission, had there been any.
