Woodrow W. Atwood, 28, of
217 South Riverside avenue, can
testify to the truth of the say
ing that bad luck comes in
bunches.
Monday night, he reported to
city police, a prowler entered
his bedroom while he was
asleep and removed from his
trousers pocket a wallet contain
ing about $70 in cash, his oper
ators' and liquor licenses and
other cards.
Early this morning he was
stopped by state police and cited
to appear in justice of the peace
court this afternoon charged
with permitting an unlicensed
minor to operate a motor vehicle.

Suit For Legal Fee

Moore against Amelia Toft Yar-
rington for approximately $!,
200 for legal services claimed

jury is hearing the case, which

The action Is the last case on
the court calendar at present.

Roland L. Raber, 21, of Rogue
River, was fined $25 in city
police court this morning on a
charge of reckless driving, the
result of his striking two auto
mobiles on South Central ave
nue yesterday afternoon.
Police said the youth, travel
ing north on the Pacific high
way, swung too wide into South
Central avenue and sideswiped
a car driven by Herman H.
Marrs of 322 South Newtown
street. Continuing north on Cen
tral avenue the Raber machine
swerved sideways and struck a
parked auto owned by Fred G.
Morris of 827 West Palm street,
parked in front of 928 South
Central avenue, police stated.
Damage to the three machines
was nominal, and nobody was
injured.
