Booster night was celebrated
by Jacksonville grange members
and their friends September 28.
A bounteous dinner was served
at 7 p. m., followed by an eve
ning of entertainment and games
supervised by the lecturer, Mrs.
Emma Conger.
Plans for the county-wide
meeting of all Home Economic
elubs at the Jacksonville hall
October 7, at noon are progres
sing rapidly. All H. E. club
members of Jackson county are
Invited to attend as the guest of
Jacksonville grange. Lunch will
be served at noon and an elabor

Central Point Orange
The Agate meeting will be
held at the Central Point grange,
Friday, October 3, at 8 p. m.
Bellview grange will be in
charge of the lecture program
and will present the Agate to
Central Point. There will be
only two more agate meetings
in the county after this and it is
hoped these last few will be well
attended by all grangers. In
stead of Central Point ladies
bringing sandwiches the H. E. C.
will furnish them.
Members are reminded to
bring sales slips for the last
