Draft Registrants
-Over 28 Years Old
Put in New Class
CLINE TRIAL SET
After becoming familiar with
11 the original classifications,
elective service registrants are
having little difficulty over
the latest one cooked up by the
government. It is classification
1-H.
Headquarters of the two local
selective service boards here
said today that many registrants
receiving cards designating their
classification as 1-H have called
to find out what it means. Here
Is what board headquarters said
it means:
"In class 1-H shall be placed
each registrant not a volunteer
who on or before July 1. 1941.
had attained the 28th anniver
sary of his birth and who upon
classification is not classified in
class 1-C, class IV (other than
IV-E), class III or class II."
If there is still any question
in registrant's mind, board head
quarters, open during regular
business hours, are in the old
Farmers and Fruitgrowers bank,
West Main and Grape streets.

No need to take chances ...
This is the brand you should select . . .
So-called "bargain price" foods, sold in "odd sized
cans", at so-called "reduced prices" are really high
priced and frequently second rate. If you really like
your stomach if you are serious about health fol
low the lead of experienced buyers insist on Royal
Club canned foods, spices and coffee. More local
women prefer it day by day.
